Second tournament, also known as "New Year" Tournament, gathered a lot of good players and in the beginning of 1/8 was a tough fight. The hardest match was between FidelCastr0 and Electro. Result, as we remember, is 2:1. Almost all games were predictable, except up mentioned pair. Lets see what happened in other pairs!
In first pair Mihael and Achille was nothing special. Mihael is strong player and also a favourite in this tournament when Achille is medium level player. He knows how to build buildings, but don't have sense of war and unitcontrol. Only with one good economy you can't win.
In second pair FidelCastr0 and Electro was very tough fight as I said! First game won Electro with USA, second game won Fidel with Spain, but with Portugal stronger was Electro. Good match. Best in this stage.
In third pair Law and Gilan. Gilan is a good player with good economy, but the pity is he don't have good unitcontrol. Law also quick in economy moreover unitcontrol is better than Gilan's. Good games, but result 2:0 in favour of Law.
In fourth pair Guron and JK was also nothing special. Guron with his good economy killed medium level player, JK. JK need more practise with good players, because his economy and unitcontrol is bad, lower than it has to be to win good players.
In fifth pair DrHorse and JACK. It wasn't a big effort for Horse to beat his opponent. He is also tournament favourite. As JK, Jack need to practise his game.
In sixth pair Elizabeth and HeIsing. Elizabeth wasn't playing in full strength, but HeIsing hasn't felt it and gave up without a fight. 2:0 in favour Elizabeth.
In seventh pair Rasim and Lucas18. First game Rasim won easy. Lucas isn't tough player. Rasim won by 1:0, because Lucas hadn't came to play second.
In eighth pair DonJuan and Hawkind. Long time they couldn't find time to play. Also there was problem with creation a room. Finally we played one game with USA, where win Hawkind. Game was tough, but my economy was better. Second game was not played. Win Hawkind by 1:0.
Tournament is so far well and this competition is more challenging than first one. Second stage will be more interesting, hopefully. Many good players will fight for glory and 30$. In 1/4 left 8 players out of 16. It is Mihael, Electro, Law, Guron, DrHorse, Elizabeth, Rasim, Hawkind. The matches will be tough! Thanks for attention and good luck on the battlefields.
